I arrived to the Dubai embassy in the afternoon.. around 2. There were few other people there and the helpful staff directed me to the office of the man I needed to talk with. I gave him a hand filled visa form which I printed from the consulate website and one recent photo, together with the required LOI from ATE. I went to a separate desk still inside the consulate to pay the fee and returned my receipt to the same man minutes later. Everything was smooth, he asked me to wait for a few minutes in a nearby room.. Çay was served . My passport was returned with Visa attached in less than one hour from the time that I arrived. I used a US passport and paid in US cash.
