Taliban has imposed restrictions on tourists visiting Bamyan, resulting in travelers being sent back to Kabul at security checkpoints.

Good newsBamyan and Band-e Amir are now open for travel. Our colleague has confirmed with the checkpoints that visitors can head there without any issues starting today.

Today again travelers were denied to go to Bamyan at checkpoints. Again same unannounced excuse some kind of military operation going on

My colleague just spoke with Talib checkpoint on the way to Bamyan and they confirmed that travelers are now allowed to go to Bamyan. Let’s see if they actually allow travelers tomorrow or not.
