Price: USD 50 per day for a 1997 Corolla
REVIEWI rented a car for self-driving for three days (May 15th to May 17th, 2024) through ATE Rides rental service.
It was a 1997 Corolla, and I met the car owner, Mr. Hijrat Sahak, at the door of my hotel in Kabul. We had previously agreed on a rate of USD 50 per day, excluding fuel. He brought the printed agreement, I signed it, and he took a picture of my passport. Mr. Sahak was punctual and delivered the car clean.
I faced no problems using the car, even when traveling over hilly terrain.
I returned the car (clean and with the same amount of fuel) on May 17th by the end of the day, and everything occurred as we had previously agreed.
Overall, I had a really nice experience with ATE Rides, and I recommend them to anyone visiting Afghanistan!
