Just an update about visas in Europe from our side.

We⁩ are Irish citizens with temporary residency in Prague Czech Republic and we got our Afghan visa today after applying maybe 2 weeks ago.

Currently the Afghan embassy in Prague is one of the few in Europe with a working relationship with the Taliban, a lot visas issued by other embassies in Europe are not accepted or being issued at present.

Also there seems to be some issue now with any official embassy email address using the Afghan .AF domain name, the embassy here is now using a generic gmail address which I can confirm is “prague.af at gmail dot com”

People super nice at the embassy, chatted with them about their Pashtun roots and history, offered tea etc

We paid €80 euros only possible via bank transfer. They issued us a standard tourist visa with a validity of 3 months
