Review (ioverlander, June 2024): Middle-range hotel within walking distance to the blue mosque. Many kind of rooms to choose from, with or w/o bathroom, with or w/o cooler.

Courtyards behind the building to park (closed at night).

WiFi mostly not working.

I've had a few experiences staying in mid-range hotels near tourist spots too, and they can be hit or miss depending on what you value most. It sounds similar to a place I stayed in Capitol Reef, Utah—affordable with basic amenities but had some downsides like patchy WiFi. I didn’t mind it since I was outside most of the time exploring.
