Afghanistan Travel Experience ATE

I reached the Dubai consulate before it opened at 8:30. Now I went to the visa office where a kind official looked at my passport, the application form I had filled out online before leaving Italy and the invitation letter that the agency that will rent me the motorbike in Kabul and that I will use for my trip to the north sent me for free. I then went to the cashier to pay the fee of $130 (dirham or credit card which however did not work: no problem: in the corridor two employees take photographs, photocopies of documents, both of which I did not ask for, and they also change money). I then returned to the visa office room, handed over the receipt and again passport, application form and LOI and five minutes later my passport with the visa was returned to me. All in 45 minutes. Super efficient and friendly. No questions about the reasons for my trip, itinerary or anything else
